The Montenvers train, La Mer de Glace (The Ice Sea)

The little red train has been running since 1908 transporting travellers to the site of Montenvers, just on the edge of the very famous Mer de Glace (Ice Sea). Surrounding by prestigious mountain tops, the site of Montenvers provides numerous exhibitions thus enabling all visitors to find out more about the largest glacier in France, as well as the wonderful alpine countryside.

The Aiguille du midi (The Southern Peak)

The world’s most famous cable car will take you all the way up to the Aiguille du Midi (3,842 metres) after a truly breathtaking ride. This high-mountain site is equipped for your comfort and safety, and provides you with a unique 360° panoramic view of the majestic Mont-Blanc as well as all of the surrounding mountains.
